Ephesians 3:14-15
All fatherhood is derived from the one and only true Father God. The Amplified Bible says Ephesians 3:15 this way... For
Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father
from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name]. (AMP)
When God looks at you and me, He doesn't see nameless, faceless workers, He sees family. He is a loving Father who lovingly relates to His children. Not workers, not servants and not slaves... but sons and daughters.
The more that we begin to see that the Christian life is all about family, the more we will be drawn into His fathering heart. It is the most wonderful revelation when we know that our value to Him is not based on what we do but simply who we are.
My prayer today is that we would all have a deeper revelation that we belong to the family of God. Our very name comes from our heavenly Father. In John 8:35, Jesus said these words... Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever.
14 For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,
15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,
